A Mythological action puzzle game developed for Uncrank'd Jam
(Themes: Float and Reflection)

Story:

You have died!!  Whilst your spirit wanders the shore, waiting to cross the river Styx you knock into the queue of other souls, causing them to drop their Obols into the river.  Panic ensues as Charon will not allow souls to enter Hades without their Obols.

Either by chance or the grace of the Gods, you find Athena's reflective shield (used by Perseus against Medusa) upon the shore and decide to trick Charon by reflecting images of the sinking Obols into his boat, so he believes each soul has the required crossing payment.

How to play:

Use the accelerometer to Tilt the playdate left and right to angle the shield and match the sinking Obol shape to the shape Charon requests.

(If you prefer 🎣 controls instead of accelerometer, you can toggle between the fast paced crank mode in the pause menu) 

If Charon sees you have projected only light or the wrong Obol shape, then you will lose a life and he will become suspicious.  Lose all 3 lives and Charon will refuse to ferry any more souls.

Press Ⓐ or ⬅️to turn the shield around and stop reflecting for 3 seconds so you don't get caught. 

Hints:

• Turn the shield around quickly (Ⓐ or ⬅️) after matching each Obol to give yourself time to align the next one
• Try to position your beam of light centrally after each Obol to be closest to the next required one.
